The school has several programmes up and running whereby we assist unemployed parents to develop their skills and in the process assist the school where possible and generate possible income. These programmes include training unemployed parents in the following for 2004 with the accompanying benefit to the school:
 | welding - the making of security gates for classrooms. |
| woodwork - making of chairs and desks for learners. |
| knitting and sewing - the making of sport strip for sporting codes |
| computer literacy - basic computer literacy for unemployed. |
